Would You Sign In for Me?
This website features a “Sign up for Updates” link that takes you to a short form, asking for your name and email address. What’s more, posts on Medium.com (interviews with the characters of my books) ask you to register there to receive emailed updates. I would very much appreciate it if you were to help me out by registering, particularly on the Medium site. Why?

The reason this is so important is that there were 305,000 titles published in the United States last year (2020). Those are only the published titles. Many more were submitted, but never got published. At the same time, revenue from book sales has plummeted. Publishers can’t afford the time or staff to review all the submissions they would get if they didn’t limit their sources. That’s why literary agents have become critically important. They feed vetted manuscripts to the publishers. So now, the majority of authors target the agents and they, too are overwhelmed. What do they look for in a book submission? Of course, they want a quality, finished product. But even more importantly, they want an audience. They want to know that the book will sell.
That’s where you come in. By registering on the Medium site and signing up here, you demonstrate to potential agents and publishers that these books are generating interest. In addition, I would so appreciate it if you’d tell other people about them on Facebook, on Twitter, by email or in person.
The first book is ready to go, the second is at the editors, and the third is already underway. With your help, one or more could be in a publisher’s hands by the end of the year.
Is the writing worthwhile? You can see for yourself. Read the interviews with the “cast” of characters. And I’ll soon be offering members of this site a complimentary copy of the first chapter of the first book, The Priest. (Those of you who have already signed up will automatically receive a link where you can download it.) Also, when the first novel is published, I’ll offer you printed copies at my cost.
I’m sure you’ll find this series as enjoyable to read as I’ve found it fun to write.
